The more tender the consistency of the meat balls, the finer their taste. Then you get a harmonious result of the efforts of the culinary specialist. As meat raw materials for meatballs, you can use any kind of meat. The lightest taste of the dish will be with chicken fillet. In addition, meatballs can be prepared for the future. Freeze and use as needed. Then the time for cooking soup will be halved.

I used fresh cabbage of two varieties: white and cauliflower. But you can use broccoli, Brussels sprouts, red and other varieties. Also sauerkraut will do. It is also impossible not to say that such a soup promotes weight loss. Since cabbage has a negative calorie content, i.e. it requires more calories to process than it contains.

Ingredients:

  • White cabbage - 200 g
  • Cauliflower - 200 g
  • Carrot - 1 pc.
  • Potatoes - 1-2 pcs. depending on size
  • Tomatoes - 1 pc.
  • Meatballs - 20-25 pcs.
  • Black ground pepper - a pinch
  • Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
  • Allspice peas - 3 pcs.
  • Bay leaf - 2 pcs.

Step by step cooking cabbage soup with meatballs:


1. Pour water into a saucepan, put bay leaf, peppercorns and boil.


2. Dip the meatballs into boiling water. If you put them in the cold, they will become rubbery and not tasty.


3. Boil the meatballs.


4. In the meantime, prepare all the vegetables. Peel potatoes and carrots and cut into medium pieces. Wash the tomato and cut into cubes. Tomatoes choose dense, so that they keep their shape well.


5. After the meatballs boil, immediately add potatoes and carrots to the pan and boil again. Turn the temperature down to low and cook for about 10 minutes.


6. Then add shredded white cabbage and cauliflower florets to the pan.
